Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: DISASTER RECOVERY AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING SOFTWARE Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), of the Government of Canada (Canada), is the initial client. They have a requirement for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning (DRBCP) Software. The DRBCP software license must be Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS). However, this bid solicitation will also allow Canada to make the Software available to any department or Crown corporation (as those terms are defined in the Financial Administration Act) or any other party for which the Department of Public Works and Government Services is authorized to act from time to time under section 16 of the Department of Public Works and Government Services Act (each a "Client"). The initial requirement for CBSA is for: 1. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning Software License for 560 concurrent users, including an online training tutorial 2. Maintenance and Support Services for the first year 3. 5 days of classroom Training The requirement is for an initial term of 1 year. The contract will include to following options for CBSA and any other department or Crown corporation: 4. Maintenance and Support Services for up to 5 additional 1-year periods 5. Additional concurrent users of the licensed software 6. Maintenance and Support Services on the additional users 7. Additional classroom training on an "as and when requested" basis The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
