Project description:    
The project consists in the construction of a test facility that simulates oil spills in a marine environment. 

Work is to be completed within 56 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1M to $5M.  

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Also, the Contractor/Offerer personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a Reliability Status granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
Arrangements have been made for the site visitto be held at 335 River Road, Ottawa, Ontario on Wednesday October 12, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. (EDT). A valid photo ID will be required to be guaranteed access to the building.

There are no health and safety requirements for thesite visit.
