    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  
    Project # R.056478.002, Victoria Building Exterior Maintenance
    Repair Building, 140 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario  
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 
    The Victoria Building Facade and Parapets Upgrade Project
    includes the seismic retrofitting of the flagpole enclosure
    walls at the northwest corner of the roof and the higher parapet
    sections and seismic retrofitting of the lower parapet sections,
    (seismic upgrading is not required since the overall project is
    not considered a major renovation), repointing of select areas
    of mortar joints, dismantling and rebuilding of parapets and
    flagpole enclosure, re-setting of select coping stone units and
    accent stone units, window caulking at all windows and limestone
    repairs at lower levels.
    
    Work is to be completed within thirty (30) weeks after contract
    award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
    For further instructions please consult "Special Instruction to
    Bidders", SI09, "Security related requirements" and
    "Supplementary Conditions" SC01 "Security related requirements"
    of the Invitation to Tender documents.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
    There will be site visit on March 10th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. 
    Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance (Security
    Desk) of the Victoria Building, 140 Wellington Street, Ottawa
    Ontario.
    
    Please Note: The names of each individual attending the site
    visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they
    represent, must be provided to the Contracting Officer by March
    6th, 2015 no later than 2:00PM in order to gain access to the
    site.
    
    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
    site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
    patch). Bidder's personnel / individuals who do not have the
    proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
