Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.074878.204 - Alexandria Bridge - Structural Steel Repairs for Piers 2 and 3 areas Ontario, Quebec. Project description: The principle objective of the project is to address structural steel repairs of the Piers 2 and 3areas of the bridge in order to extend its life expectancy. The limits of the steel repair work are below the concrete roadway deck (Ottawa bound lane) from floor beams 5 to 14 and from floor beams 22 to 31, from the tops of piers 2 and 3. Work is to be completed within Thirty-eight (38) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. The Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 10am. Interested bidders shall meet under the Alexandra Bridge accessing through Port de plaisance Jacques-Cartier, 160 Rue Laurier, Gatineau, Quebec.
