DIAND, on behalf of Shoal Lake No. 40 First Nation and Wapekeka First Nation, requires Project Management services through all stages of design, construction, and post-construction for the delivery of two new school facilities.

The resulting Funding Agreement will be issued and administered by DIAND.  While this is a unique situation, the Project Manager will still work in the best interest of the project, reporting to the entire Project Implementation Team (with the understanding that both First Nations are the beneficiaries of the project), and ultimately provide guidance and direction to the Project Team to ensure the project meets the needs of each community

The Project Manager will be responsible for:

a. Managing the work of the Design-Build Firm(s) in accordance with the services described in the Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) documents; and

b. Managing the work of the Geotechnical Consultant and of the Commissioning Authority in accordance with the services described in the respective Request for Proposals (RFPs).

PWGSC is responsible for the management of the RFP and bid evaluation processes only. The resulting Funding Agreement will be issued by INAC. INAC will be responsible for all the Funding Agreement management.
