Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) requirement for the purchase of two types of custom enclosure kits and associated equipment for seismic stations in Canada.  

Item 1 - Geophysical Station AC Kit Enclosure, NRCan drawing 14339 Rev C.  Firm quantity 30each.  Option quantity up to 20 maximum (ordered in lots of 5 each).

Item 2 - Geophysical Station AC Kit Enclosure, NRCan drawing 14339 Rev C, excluding battery box.  Firm quantity 14 each.  Option quantity up to 20 maximum (ordered in lots of 5 each).

Item 3 - Instrument Box Assembly, NRCan drawing 19211.  Firm quantity 5.   Option quantity up to 10 maximum (ordered in lots of 5 each).

Item 4, Sun Shade, Post Mounting Box, NRCan drawing 19216.  Firm quantity 5.   Option quantity up to 10 maximum (ordered in lots of 5 each).

Item 5 - Geophysical Station DC Kit, NRCan drawing 19039 Rev 3.  Firm quantity 16.   Option quantity up to 20 maximum (ordered in lots of 5 each).

NRCan drawings are included in the solicitation document.  The successful Bidder will be required to provide pre-production samples for items 1 and 5 for NRCan testinig prior to commencing production.

Optional Prototype Viewing
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit Natural ResourcesCanada (NRCan). Arrangements have been made for the prototype viewing to be held at NRCan's facility located at 2617 Anderson Road, Ottawa, ON on 21 October 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 EDT.  

Bidders are requested to communicate with theContracting Authority no later than 20 October 2016 at 15:00 EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
