The Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Logistics Training School (CFLTC) Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden has a requirement for a rollerized floor as a training aid to facilitate pallet build-up/breakdown and storage of training equipment for the Traffic Training Cadre (Tfc Trg Cadre). The current device, 4 X bi-directional rollers with over 30 years of usage, and in need of repair, are not useable other than for storage.  This is compounded by the low ceiling above where the current roller system is housed.

The Tfc Trg Cadre would like to acquire a rollerized floor to simulate realistic working conditions with an actual rollerized floor similar to those used at other movement related units such as 2 Air Movements Squadron and 426 (T) Sqn (both located at 8 Wing Trenton). Ideally this would enable students to concurrently build/breakdown several aircraft pallets which is part of the PC relating to aircraft pallet configuration and limitations. Finally, with an option to be mobile, the floor could be transferred to another location in the event of a move or renovation.

Deliverables
Installation of the rollerized floor including setup, testing and annual maintenance.
Training of staff in the use and maintenance of the equipment.
All parts, labor and on-site service.
