Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Goose River Trail Decommissioning - Fundy National Park, Alma, Albert County, NB EC373-191245/B Johnston (MCT), Edward Telephone No. - (506) 343-6382 Fax No. - (506) 851-6759 This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number EC373-191245/A dated 2018-08-22 with a closing of 2018-09-05 at 14:00 Atlantic Daylight Time (ADT). Public Works and Government Services Canada has requirement to decommission the Goose River Trail at Fundy National Park, NB. The work to be done shall include all labour, materials and equipment necessary to complete the following: • Removal of existing timber, HDPE and CSP culverts. • Removal of two (2) timber pedestrian bridges. • Selective clearing and Site preparation • Scarification and fine grading of trail bed. • Installation and levelling of organic layer over designated areas. • Supply/installation of rip rap drainage swales and erosion control structures. • Supply/installation of seedlings and small trees and shrubs. • Transplanting of seedlings and small trees and shrubs. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.086382.001 forming part of the bid document. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twelve (12) weeks after award. New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $500,001 to $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required. A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 126, 1045 Main Street, Moncton, N.B. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Firm intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents.
