    REQUIREMENT: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for remediation services at the former Iqaluit Metal Dumpin
    
     Iqaluit, NU. Contractor will be responsible for development and construction of a LTU on site for consolidated inert materials; various re
    mediation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials at identified areas within the site; supplying barge services to remove hazardous and non-hazardous materials from site; construction of access ramp using loca
    lly procured aggregates; consolidating and covering/contouring in place 
    no
    n-hazardous materials, and installation of monitoring wells as necessary.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on May 24th at 10:00 am local time 
    (Iqaluit), interested bidders are to meet at the Frobisher Inn, Iqaluit
    
    It is optional the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the Iqaluit Dump Site. Bidders are requested to register with the Contracting Authority no later than 2:00 P.M. C.D.T., May 19, 2016, to confirm attendance and provide the name of the person who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders who donotattend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment.
    a. Attire: It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety boots, hard hats, high visibility vest, and safety glasses. Proper outerwear toprotect from the elements should also be worn.
    b. Attendees should be prepared to walk over rough terrain to access the
     full site.
    c. All travel and living costs associated with travel to Iqaluit for 
    the purpose of attending this Optional Site Visit will be borne by the bidder or its representative.
    d. There is a possibility that due to weather conditions the site visit ma
    y be cancelled.
    e. It is the responsibility of the attendees to provide their own transportation from the Frobisher Inn tothe Dump Site.

    COMPREHENSIVE LAND CLAIM AGREEMENT 
    This procurement is subject to the Agreement Between the Inuit of the NunavutSettlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada.
