    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Environmental Services (ES) has been retained by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to manage Aircraft Fueling System Modifications, including the removal and replacement of the existing aviation fuel storage and dispensing system at the RCMP Hangar Site at Prince Albert Airport (Glass Field), north of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
    
    The scope of work to be completed by the Contractor includes:
    
    1.  Decommission and removal of the existing 2,400 L above ground storage tank (AST).
    2.  Decommission and removal of the existing 50,000 L underground storage tank (UST).
    3.  Removal of the existing fuel handling and transfer system and all associated contents and appurtenances.
    4.  Excavation and off-site disposal of non-impacted and petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) impacted soil within and adjacent to the UST excavation.
    5.  Backfill of excavation.
    6.  Supply and install a new 45,000 L AST and dispensing system including new concrete pad, electrical and impact protection.
    7.  Installation of a new overland spill containment area.
    8.  Restoration to pre-construction conditions.
    9.  Decommission five of the existing monitoring wells.
    
    Work includes permit applications and management of site safety.  All work is to be completed in accordance with specification and in compliance with all federal, provincial and municipal codes, guidelines, standards, criteria, Acts and Regulations.
    
    Contract Completion:  24 weeks from date of Contract Award.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT:
    There will be a site visit on Wednesday 13 July 2016 at 13:00 Central Standard Time (CST). Interested bidders are to meet at the Prince Albert Airport (Glass Field), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Hangar, 190 Veterans Way (Accessible via Airport Road), Prince Albert, SK  S0J 2Z0.  The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.
