    1. TITLE
    Lead and Asbestos Abatement - Swift Current, SK
    
    2. DESCRIPTION
    Work of this Contract is comprised of the abatement of lead dust and asbestos-containing materials at the RCMP Indoor Firing Range and Office, located at 50 George Street, Swift Current SK.
    For more information see ANNEX A SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS of the solicitation document.
    
    3. CONSTRUCTION TIME
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work before January 31st, 2021 OR 5 weeks from award, whichever is later.
    
    4. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on Wednesday, December 2nd with times beginning at 9:30 CST. Bidders will be assigned 45 minute time slots and will be notified of their assigned time no later than 24 hours before the first time slot. Bidders with a confirmed appointment are to meet at 50 George Street, Swift Current, Saskatchewan at their given time.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority by 2:00 PM CST, November 25, to confirm attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will attend. Please e-mail Micah.Zacharias@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca or call 204-290-1262 to register.
    
    Due to COVID-19 precautions, each bidder attending will be limited to one (1) representative for the site visit.
    
    Once the maximum of 10 attendees has been reached, additional bidder registration will not be accepted. Standard COVID-19 screening questions will be asked prior to entering site. Individuals answering ‘yes’ to any of these questions will not be permitted to enter.
    
    Non-Registered bidders may not be eligible for the site visit.
    Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have a face mask and the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, CSA approved green patch footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
    
    All travel and living costs associated with travel to the site for the purpose of attending the Site Visit will be borne by the Contractor or their representative.
    
    There is a possibility that due to weather conditions the site visit may be cancelled.
