The vessel operates in the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the winter months and in Canada’s high Arctic in the summer and fall. The vessel is fitted currently with three (3) propulsion shafts that are supported by three (3) mitchell pedestal type bearings on each shaft. The existing bearings are in excess of 45 years old, with reliability and supportability becoming an issue. The statement of work (SOW) defines the technical and performance requirements the supply and installation of nine (9) propulsion shaft pedestals for the Canadian Coast Guard ship Louis St. Laurent. The purpose of the SOW shall be for the contractor to supply new pedestal bearings and an engineering package for the installation of the new bearings as per the Technical requirements. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
