    	You are being sent this Letter of interest amendment as a
    supplier who registered under the Goods and Services
    Identification Number 7110 (Office Furniture) in the Government
    of Canada's Supplier Registration Information Service (SRI).

    As per the National Procurement Strategy for Furniture
    Procurement, PWGSC will strive to attain an optimal balance
    between influencing suppliers and government departments to use
    environmentally preferable goods, services and processes while
    ensuring value to Canadians.  PWGSC is recommending to continue
    the GC environmental criteria as well as the BIFMA Furniture
    Sustainability Standard e3-2011 as the basis for the mandatory
    and optional environmental criteria for future office furniture
    solicitations.  
    
    As in past solicitations, PWGSC is considering including
    mandatory and optional environmental criteria in upcoming
    solicitations for office furniture.  The Contracting Authority
    is looking for supplier input in this area to make sure
    requirements are feasible and industry is capable of meeting it. 
    
    We are seeking your feedback on the attached questionnaire
    located in solicitation amendment # 002.
