    OFFICE SEATING FURNITURE
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
    the Government of Canada, has an ongoing requirement for the
    supply, delivery and installation of Office Seating Furniture
    through a Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) to be available
    to all federal Government users across Canada, from date of
    issuance until such time Canada no longer considers it to be
    advantageous to use it.
    
    The RFSA cover two procurement streams:  The Aboriginal
    Suppliers and the General Suppliers as indicated below:
    
    1.	Aboriginal Suppliers wishing to submit an arrangement under
    the Procurement Strategy 		for Aboriginal Business (PSAB).  For
    the purpose of the RFSA, this stream is titled 		"PSAB" or "PSAB
    Suppliers" or "PSAB stream".
    
    2.	Any Supplier wishing to submit an arrangement not pursuant to
    the PSAB.  For the purpose of the RFSA, this stream is titled
    "General" or "General Suppliers" or "General stream".
    
    
    For the PSAB stream:
    
    This procurement is set aside under the federal government's
    Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business, as detailed in
    Annex 9.4 Requirements for the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal
    Business, of the Supply Manual.
    
    This procurement is set aside from the international trade
    agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
    and minority businesses.
    
    Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade
    (AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.
    
    For the General stream: 
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
    North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement
    and the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
    
    General Suppliers must be able to provide the goods and services
    across Canada (nationally).  Suppliers subject to the
    Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB) must be able
    to provide the goods and services either across Canada
    (nationally) or across at least one region of Canada.
    
    During the RFSA period, Suppliers are to obtain a CD from GETS
    as part of the solicitation package containing various technical
    and financial tables to be completed and submitted on a CD or
    DVD to the Supply Arrangement Authority.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
