REQUIREMENT

This requirement is to provide the Department of National Defence with Mittens, Shell Extreme Cold Weather and Mitten, Insert, Extreme Cold Weather for stock replenishment. 

The Mittens and Mitten Inserts must be manufactured in accordance with the Design Data List  DDL 8486-151779 dated 14-11-07, Specifications, Drawings, Pattens and Statement of Work at Annex B and sealed patterns.

Delivery to the DND in Montreal, Quebec and Edmonton, Alberta

FIRM QUANTITY

The firm quantity is 15,200 pairs of Mittens and 8,000 pairs of Mitten Liners.
The first delivery is requested to be made within 45 calendar days from th
e date of the written notice of approval of pre-production samples and receipt of Government-Supplied Material (GSM).  
The quantity delivered is requested to be 600 pairs.  The balance is requested to be delivered at the rate of 600 pairs weekly after the first delivery until completion of the Contract. 

OPTION QUANTITIES

This requirement also includes three (3) options to purchase additional es
timated quantities of  
15,200 pairs (maximum) of Mittens and 8,000 pairs (maximum) of Mitten Liners.
Option 1 is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
Option 2 is exercisable within 36 months from contract award.
Option 3 is exercisable within 48 months from contract award.

TENDERING PROCEDURES:

Canadian Content - Solely Limited
The bidder must supply Canadian goods.

TECHNICAL DATA

Technical Data shall be automatically issued, under separate cover, upon request for the bid documentation. Therefore, it is imperative that this request for bid documentation be done as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated Technical Data. Notwithstanding the ab
ove, the Crown shall not be held responsible for untimely release of technical data, since the Technical Data Package and sealed patterns shall be available for viewing at the following Department of Publics Works and Government Services Regional Offices:

ENQUIRES
