    REQUIREMENT:  FIXED SITE INSPECTION SYSTEM
    
    The solicitation closing date is hereby extended from August 4,
    2015 to August 18, 2015 at 14:00 EDT.
    
    Canadian Border Services Agency has a requirement for a
    Fixed-Site Large-Scale Imaging (FS-LSI) Facility to be installed
    within the CBSA commercial compound at the Pacific Highway
    Port-of-Entry (PoE), Surrey, BC.  The FS-LSI Facility is to
    enable the safe, non-intrusive inspection of large target
    objects (marine containers, transport trucks, passenger
    vehicles, etc.) using high-energy X-rays.
    
    The FS-LSI Facility will be procured as a turn-key solution, in
    which the successful bidder will be responsible for satisfying
    all requriements in accordance with and as detailed in Annex A
    of the Request for Proposal (RFP). 
    
    Bids will be accessed  against mandatory requirements and
    point-rated criteria. The responsive bid with the highest
    combined rating of technical merit and price will be recommended
    for award of a contract.
    
    The Resulting Contract will have an irrevocable option to
    purchase: a) extended maintenance services for up to five (5)
    additional one (1) year periods for the FS-LSI Equipment; and b)
    a single, perpetual, enterprise software licence after contract
    award.
    
    Arrangements have been made for an optional site visit at the
    work site to be held at 28-176th Street
    Surrey BC on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.  The site visit will begin
    at at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).  It is recommended
    that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work
    site.
    
    This requirement contains a security requirement.  The
    Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the
    Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS),
    issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD),
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).  The
    Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive work
    site(s)must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or
    approved by CISD/PWGSC.
