Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Request for Proposal - One Phase, Cladding and Roof, G.O.C.B., Moncton, New Brunswick EC015-160206/A Doucet, Gisele PWB Telephone No. - (506) 636-4541 Fax No. - (506) 636-4376 Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is calling for proposals from Architects for the design of the replacement of the wall cladding, and partial roof replacement of a lower roof (including skylight) at the Government of Canada Building, 1089 Main St., Moncton, NB. The requirement entails reviewing existing reports on the condition of the exterior cladding, proposing any additional investigation required, and providing options for its replacement. Included in the scope will be a lower roof, which contains a skylight. The design of the lower roof will duplicate the upper roof, which is currently under construction. Options for repair / replacement of the skylight are requested. The final documentation required will be tender ready drawings and specifications which include the cladding, the roof and the skylight design. The consultant team to be identified must include the following: Proponent (prime consultant) Architect Key Sub consultant/specialists Structural Engineer Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the total score established as follows: Technical Rating x 90% = Technical Score (Points) Price Rating x 10% = Price Score (Points) Total Score - 100% This is a One Phase Procedure, Request for Proposal (RFP) based upon the requirements of the RFP document and the Project Brief. The successful proponent will be required to enter into a Standard Architectural & Engineering Services Contract (Terms and Conditions are included in the RFP). Within the RFP Document, the Crown sets out the project requirements, i.e. The particulars of the project itself and the broad scope of services required from the proponent. Schedule: Review of existing documentation and site investigation: 3 weeks Concept Design: 8 weeks Design Development: 5 weeks Construction Documents - 50% completion stage submission: 8 weeks Construction Documents - 99% completion stage submission: 10 weeks Construction Documents - 100% completion stage submission: 1 week Tender Call, Bid Evaluation and Construction Contract Award: 8 weeks Construction: 1 year There are no security requirements for this Request for Proposal. IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to Integrity Provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
