Pad Preparation and  UXO Clearance, Dartmouth CCC Building

The work will be carried out at the proposaed Corrections Canada
Dartmouth CCC site located of Morris Drive in the Burnside
Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Work on this project
consists generally of, but is not limited to the following:

Excavate and process fill as required to facilitate construction
Grubbing as required
Construct structural pad
Undertake Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) clearance
Supply, install and remove all environmental protection measures
required, such as silt fences, diversion ditches and check dams
Hydro-seed all areas disturbed by construction
Supply all necessary temporary road signs and traffic control

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Numbers R.035143.001 forming
part of the bid document. The contract completion is eleven (11)
weeks after contract award.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents require attention. 
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B. 
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $1,500,001 - $3,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and
contract security for construction is required.
