    CSC 2nd Floor Fit-up - GOCB Moncton
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the second floor fit up at the Government of Canada Building (GOCB) located in Moncton,  New Brunswick. Work under this contract includes selective demolition of interior office space including flooring, walls, wall finish and ceiling (demolition of electrical and mechanical), removal of curtains, curtain boxes and brackets, construction of interior office space fit-up including flooring, walls, wall finishes and ceilings and mechanical and electrical modifications. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work described in the specifications andplans for project number R.083937.002. The work is to be completed within 20 weeks of award of the contract.
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions.  There will be an optional site visit October 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.  All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the GOBC (1045 Main Street), Moncton, New Brunswick.  Although not mandatory, allcontractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Bidders are requested to communicatewith the Contracting Authority 1 day before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative willnot be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment tothe bid solicitation.  
    
    New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
    
    The estimatedcost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,500,001 to $2,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
