    The work associated with the Site Development and Expansion of the Parking Lot comprises of 
    The rehabilitation, expansion and improvement of the vehicular and pedestrian circulation of the parking site and includes site grading, excavation and earthwork, granular base and subbase, asphaltic concrete paving, cast in place concrete sidewalks, pavement marking, landscaping, storm, sanitary and water utilities, lighting system, retaining wall and replacement of all necessary parking features and removal and disposal of existing facilities as specified in the
    Drawings and specification.
    
    Due to the daily car parking demand that is mandatory and required by the Institution during the construction period, projectimplementation plan is specified to be carried out in eight (8) multiple phases and segments in order to meet those demands.  The purpose of this phasing is generally to have a segment of the parking lot where the construction work can be conducted while the total capacity of the entire parking lot will sufficiently cope with the car parking demands during the applicable phase.
    
    The duration of work is scheduled to be completed by November 30, 2016.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT 
    There will be a Mandatorysite visit on July 12, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Interested bidders are to meet at Beaver Creek Minimum Duty Office, 2000 Beaver Creek Drive.  Gravenhurst, Ontario.  
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
    It is mandatory that the bidder attend the mandatory site visit at the designated date and time to examine the scope of the work required and the existing conditions.
    Bidders are requested to register with the Contracting Officer, Sheila Dhanna at  sheila.dhanna@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca or 416-512-5855, to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, before close of business July 8, 2016.  Bidders without prior clearance will not be allowed on the site.  
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation..

    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide theinformation.  Failure toprovide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. 
    
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay.  Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
