The facility has an approximate footprint area of 2,066 m2 and gross floor area of 3641m2. The site is 2.833 Ha (hectare) with a site frontage of 155 m and site depth of 196 m. Site work includes a storm water detention pond and the construction of a swale along an easement on the property to the west (it will tie into an existing Sewer Water Main (SWM) facility on Town property). Site work will include a parking area for 153 vehicles, 9 motorcycles and 2 loading stalls. Building is to achieve LEED Gold certification under CaGBC LEED 2009 (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). A bidders' conference will be held at 4900 Yonge Street on 24 May 2012. The conference will begin at 1:00 pm, on the 12th Floor, boardroom 12A. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the names of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table at least 2 working days before the scheduled conference. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid. The duration of work is schedule to be completed within EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: Greater than $10,000,000.00 Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version.
