    Work includes but is not limited to:
    Waste excavation, relocation and cap placement services are
    required at Correctional Services Canada - Collins Bay
    Institution for the two former landfills (landfill 1 and
    landfill 3) in Kingston.   Waste debris and contaminated soil in
    landfill 3 will be excavated and moved to landfill 1. Landfill 3
    is located immediately adjacent to the Little Cataraqui Creek. 
    The excavated material from landfill 3 will be placed and
    compacted in landfill 1 with a geosynthetic clay liner placed
    over the re-graded waste. Improvements to the existing road
    between landfill 1 and 3, as well as ditch work around the road
    and the landfills will likely be required.
    
    Mandatory Site Visit
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the
    site visit to be held at Collins Bay on 19th August 2014. The
    site visit will begin at 11:00 am, meeting at the main building
    entrance of Collins Bay Institution 1455 Bath Rd, Kingston.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
    than 1:00 pm on 15th August 2014 to confirm attendance and
    provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders
    will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should
    confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. 
    
    Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not
    send a representative will not be given an alternative
    appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any
    clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
    the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
    solicitation
    
    The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within eleven
    (11) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the
    offer.
    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS
    IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF
    - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL
    INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI02)
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a
    complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
    directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been received
    by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will
    inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the
    information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required
    time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must
    always submit the list of directors before contract award. 
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
    completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
    Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
    named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. 
    Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will
    result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

    BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT"
    DOCUMENT)
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.
