REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION  
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number EQ754-190606/A dated September 20, 2018 with a
closing of November 8, 2018 at 2pm. 

The work under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, plant, and supervision required to fully replace Dam at Lock 38, a concrete gravity dam founded on rock built in 1908. The work involves the demolition of the existing concrete dam and its replacement by a reinforced concrete dam including all temporary works (cofferdam, diversion, dewatering, etc.), construction and installation of a concrete precast deck, handrail as well as seeding, reforestation and site restoration. Dam at Lock 38 is accessed via Canal Road on the North shore and is located approximately 6 km west of the Town of Bolsover, Ontario.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

There will be a site visit on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at 11:00am. The site visit will be organized at Lock 38 and transportation to the site will not be provided. Bidders are to meet at:

Visitors should dress according to outdoor weather conditions and wear safety boots or hiking shoes as well as a reflective vest as a minimum personal safety apparel.
