Solicitation Amendment 001 is issued to extend the closing date and change the date of the site visit.

Extension of Time 
Notice is hereby given that the closing date for the reception of tenders is extended to Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

  
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Real Property Branch requires a qualified general contractor to carry out work for roof replacement at Correctional Service Canada (CSC), Beaver Creek Institution - Medium security for Buildings A, B, C, D, J, and K, located at 2000 Beaver Creek Drive, Gravenhurst, Ontario.  This work shall be in accordance with Specification - Project No. R.074360.001 dated 2017-03-07 and Drawings.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a MANDATORY site visit on the Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  Interested bidders are to meet at Beaver Creek Institution - Main Entra
nce, 2000 Beaver Creek Drive, Gravenhurst, Ontario.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of 
the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who havenot signed the attendance sheet will be considered non-responsive.

Bidders will be required to register with the Contracting Officer, Mary Ca
porusso at (416) 512-5859 or email:  mary.caporusso@pwgsc.gc.ca prior 
to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending, no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017. CSC requires at least 48
-hour prior notice to ensure gate passes are issued.  Cell phones will not be permitted on site.  Identification MUST be brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access.

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from th
e site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Bidder must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender 
document. Failure to comply with any or all of the mandatory requirement(s) will render the bid non-compliant and no other consideration will be given to the bid.

COMPLETION DATE
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty-six (26) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
