    Solicitation Amendment 001 is raised to answer potential bidder’s questions, and include the signed attendance sheet as attachments on buyandsell.

    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is issuing an Invitation to Tender (ITT) on behalf of Correctional Services Canada’s (CSC) for a qualified general contractor to carry out work for roof replacement at Beaver Creek Institution - Medium for Buildings A, B, C, D, J, and K located at 2000 Beaver Creek Drive, Gravenhurst, Ontario. 
    
    Work comprises the roof replacement for Buildings A, B, C, D, J, and K at Beaver Creek Institution in accordance with the Technical Specification and Drawings, work includes the removal of the existing roof system down to the existing roof deck surface and installation of a robust roofing system that could withstand the natural elements, foot traffic, have low odour and have a reduced ongoing maintenance cost as well as provide guaranteed waterproof protection of the noted low slope roof area of each of the buildings noted above.  Includes work required to sample and core-test in advance all existing roofing materials to be removed for asbestos containing materials. 
    
    Work Constraints may not be limited to:
    
    Security Restrictions, work will not be permitted in more than one location at a time.
    
    To minimize disruption to nesting migratory birds, their eggs, or their young that may be encountered on site and roof areas during April through August.  Work on roof areas containing nesting birds cannot be performed until end of nesting periods.  Building J is a known site for nesting, work can be performed and completed before or after the nesting season. 
    
    Muskoka District imposes weight restriction on vehicle of 5 tonnes per axle, restriction is in place from early March through May outline in By-law 2016-4
    
    Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 26 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on 27 July 2017 at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet at:

    Main Entrance, 2000 Beaver Creek Drive, Gravenhurst, Ontario, X1X 1X1.
    
    The site visit for this project is OPTIONAL.  
    
    Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer, Cindy Marshall at 416-512-5867 or email: cindy.marshall@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, 24 hours prior to the site visit.  (Deadline for registration is 25 July 2017) 
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
     
    Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of their board of directors.  If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must submit the list of directors before contract award.  
     
    Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. 
    
    A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO ARE CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) LIST SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE BID BUT MUST BE PROVIDED AT CONTRACT AWARD.
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
