Construction Manager Services, Deferred Maintenance Program, 
NRCan, Northern Forestry Centre, Edmonton, Alberta

Project Number:  R.077101.001

This RFP is to select a construction management firm to serve as
general contractor and advisor for the Deferred Maintenance
Program for NRCan, Northern Forestry Centre, 5320 - 122 Street,
Edmonton, Alberta.  

The contract will commence at Contract Award and extend to March
31, 2017,(estimated)  plus warranty periods.  The main scope of
services may include but is not limited to the following:

1. Compressed Air System
2. H & S Security System Replacement
3. Water Distillation Units  
4.  Electrical/Lighting Greenhouse LED light conversion
5.  Renew Sealed Epoxy Concrete Floor
6.  Generator Fuel Tank Replacement
7.  H & S Plumbing Water/Utility line to Storage Building
8.  H & S Building Code Deficiency Plumbing:
9.  Electrical Distribution System Upgrade
10.  HVAC - Controls Electrical or Pneumatic
11.  HVAC - Lab Upgrade
12.  Terminal Units
13.  Computer Cooling AHU
14.  Ventilation Fans
15 Dust Systems
	
Construction activity planning (including subdivision of project
scope into appropriate packages of work), scheduling, cost
estimating, tendering packages of work, risk management, serving
as prime and general contractor and related work.

The construction manager will competitively hire and coordinate
the efforts of all construction personnel, general contractor,
sub-contractors as needed to complete the Work.  The
construction manager will be responsible to and liaison with
PWGSC.

There will be a site visit on Thursday, September 22, 2015 at
10:30 a.m.. Interested bidders are to meet at the Northern
Forestry Centre, 5320 - 122 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.
