PWGSC, on behalf of CSC needs the repair of interior and exterior security fences and gates of the Regional Psychiatric Centre at Saskatoon to meet current requirements. The project includes work at the Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon, SK.  The facility is located at 2520, Central Avenue in Saskatoon. The locations and description of primary works (but not limited to) include: 

• Principal Entrance remote control sliding gates are to be replaced.
• Interior and Exterior Perimeter Fences to have Barbed Taped Concertina replaced.
• Two Fence Lines with Gates will be removed and not replaced. One at Building A07 and the other at Building A08A.
• Fence line at Building A0-6 will be upgraded and new Gate installed.
• Fence and Gate at Building A03 Yard will be replaced.
• Fence Line from Building A02 to Interior Perimeter Fence will be replaced including the Gates.
• Fences and Gates at Spiritual Yards A18 & A19 will be replaced.
• Fence Line and Gates around the Maintenance Yard will be replaced.
• Recreational Yard Fence Lines at Buildings A08A and A08B will be upgraded.
• Temporary Vehicle Sallyport along with new Gates will be constructed at the Emergency Gate location and will be used for Institutional vehicle access during the construction of the Principal Entrance Sallyport Gates. The Temporary Vehicle Sallyport will be removed at the completion of this Project unless advised otherwise.

There will be a site visit on April 4, 2018 at 11:00am CST. Interested bidders are to meet at:

Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must register prior to the site visit. The names of each individual attending the site visit, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by March 29, 2018 at 2:00pm MDT in order to gain access to the site.  Bidders who have not pre-registered will not be granted access.

Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between:
Category 5          $1,000,001 > $ 5,000,000

This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the Public in English.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
