Description:

This project is for the fit-up construction of 3 floors of the Greenstone Building (as well as the basement for server room) to accommodate 76 FTE’s in general office space as well as special purpose space (medical) plus 8 parking stalls for the Department of National Defence (DND). DND’s accommodation strategy is to optimize their office accommodations in accordance with Workplace 2.0 fit-up standards.

The Greenstone Building is a four-storey, flat roof, large scale, sustainable Crown owned asset located at 5105-50 Avenue,Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The Greenstone Building was built in 2005, and is Canada’s first LEED Gold building located north of the 60th parallel. The building has a raised floor system (under floor power and communications wiring).

DND willbe located on the basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Greenstone building. The fit-up construction work will involve architectural, mechanical, electrical, and communication elements.

Integrity Provisions: 
Changes have been made to the IntegrityProvisions - Bid as of 2016-04-04. See GI01, Integrity Provision-Bid of R2710T of the General Instructions for more information.

Tlicho Land Claims and Self-Government Agreement:
The requirements of the Tlicho Land Claims and Self-Government Agreement will apply to the proposed procurement.

Listing of Contractors:
As per GI07 of R2710T you should provide using Annex “C” at Bid closing a list of Subcontractors that have 20% or more of the tendered price value.

There will be a site visit on August 30, 2016 at 11:00 PM. Interested bidders are to meet at:
