The scope of work for this project is to the replace the existing 8 boiler system in the MNS Building in the Edmonton Institution for Women (EIFW). The Edmonton Institution for Women (EIFW) is a multi-level security facility. Inmates are housed in different styles of living units depending on their security level. The existing 8 hot water boiler units serving Building 1 in the EIFW were installed in 1995, they are at the end of their service life and need to be replaced.
It is the intention of Correctional Services Canada (CSC) to have the construction portion of this project to be performed during the late summer and fall of 2018 to limit impact on the buildings users. Construction will be performed during full operation of the facilities, as a result project phasing must be planned to ensure that disruption to the daily operation of the facilities is kept to a minimum. Due to these constraints it is strongly recommended that potential bidders attend the optional site visit.

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 and $250,000.

    NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
