    Canadian Food Inspection Agency Structural Slab Repair, Lethbridge, AB
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain an individual Design-Builder (DB) or joint venture, to provide the structural slab repair work for Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Lethbridge, AB.
    
      This is a Design-Build Project intended to mitigate the settlement issues experienced in the General Services Building (GSB) slab on grade.  This project requires rehabilitation work to be performed to improve conditions of the building, which may include, but not limited to, the following:
    application for building permit, partial slab demolition, sub-slab crawl space expansion, foundation, underpinning, new piling, structural slab repair and reconstruction, in-slab mechanical radiant heating system, site grading and drainage, landscape, interior finishing/architectural improvement, and commissioning.  
    
    Completion: 4 months from Contract Award
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT:
    
    It is MANDATORY that the bidder attend the site visit at the designated date and time to examine the scope of the work required and the existing conditions. The Site Visit will be held on Thursday, Octolber 20, 2016 at 12:30 PM at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Lethbridge General Services Building, Twp Rd 9-1, Lethbridge Alberta - SW 7-9-22-W4.  
    
    As proof of attendance, at the site visit, the Technical Authority will have an Attendance Register which MUST be signed by the bidder’s representative. It is the responsibility ofall bidders to ensure they have signed the Mandatory Site Visit Attendance Register prior to leaving the site.  Bids submitted by bidders who have not attended the site visit or failed to sign the Attendance Form will be deemed non-responsive. No exceptions will be made.
    
    Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001  >  $5,000,000.
