Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises of general
construction work for the modification to existing piping, a
head tank aeration system, metal framing; and the supply and
installation of new electrically acturated control valves and
gates at the Kitimat River Hatchery.  The work site is located
at the Kitimat River Hatchery, 283 Haisla Boulevard, Kitimat,
BC. 

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work. 

Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.  A site
visit is scheduled on Thursday, May 1st, 2014 at 1:00pm local
time, at Kitimat River Hatchery, located at 283 Haisla
Boulevard, Kitimat, BC.  A maximum of two (2) representatives
per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites.  

Contractors interested in attending the site visit should
pre-register with the Contracting Authority by e-mail:
ken.ngan@pwgsc.gc.ca before close of business on Tuesday, April
22nd, 2014.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
is estimated to cost around 
$550,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
