Location:   Elijah Smith Building located at 300 Main Street,
Whitehorse, YT


Note to Tenderers:

contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which

Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract generally comprises, but is
not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services
and equipment necessary for the renovation of the 2nd and 4th
floor of the Elijah Smith Building, Whitehorse, YT, including;
1.) Demolition of existing partition walls, demising walls,
finishes, and millwork.
2.) Construction of new partition walls and millwork, new floor
and wall finishes, and modify, patch and repair ceiling.
3.) Modification of existing HVAC system.
4.) Modification of existing power, data, and lighting systems.

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work. 


Site Visit:     
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.  A site
visit is scheduled on Friday, June 19th, 2015 at 10:00am local
time, at the CAN NOR office on the fourth floor of the Elijah
Smith Building, located at 300 Main Street, Whitehorse, YT. 
Contractors attending the site visit are asked to meet at the
lobby of the Elijah Smith Building at the start of the scheduled
site visit time.


Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
This project is estimated to cost around $700,000.00.


Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
