    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the re-grading and repaving work at Pacific Highway Port of Entry at 28 176th Street, Surrey, BC, and at Abbotsford-Huntingdon Port of Entry at 2 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC.
    
    Work will be performed in accordancewith the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the siteas well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 at 10:00am local time. The scheduled site visit will start at the Abbotsford-Huntingdon port of entry’s traffic building lobby, located at 2 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC. After the walk-around is finish at the Abbotsford-Huntingdon port of entry, the site visit will continue at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry, located at 28, 176th Street, Surrey, BC. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. Contractors attending the site visit may be required to show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Driver’s License.
    
    All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit.  
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks from Contract Award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $1,000,000.00.

In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender form the identification number(s)of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid.
