Title:  EGD Pedestrian Walkway at South Access Road
Location:  Esquimalt Graving Dock, Victoria, BC

Work Description:
Work under this Contract includes the installation of new concrete sidewalks, line painted pedestrian walkway, and the removal and subsequent revisions to existing line paintings. The work is located along the South Access Road, located at the Esquimalt Graving Dock, 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, B.C.

Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
.1 Installation of new 1.5m concrete sidewalks c/w letdowns.
.2 Installation of a 1.2m wide line-painted pedestrian walkway.
.3 Installation of new asphalt were required to complete installation of the line-painted walkway.
.4 Removal of existing line painting as noted on construction drawings.
.5 Installation of new line paintings as noted on construction drawings.

Optional Site visit:
The site visit for this project is optional.  Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Monday January 15th, 2018 at 10:00am local time at the Esquimalt Graving Dock (EGD).  Interested Bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Operations Centre, Building NS32, Esquimalt Graving Dock, located at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC.
The front gate commissionaire will only allow access to the site if previous visitor information is provided and names appear on the visitor list.
Bidders are reminded that the Esquimalt Graving Dock is a heavy industrial site and WCB approved hard hats and safety footwear must be worn for the site visit.
Bidders are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
Interested bidders are requested to provide their name(s) and company name(s) to the Contracting Authority, Ken Ngan by email at ken.ngan@pwgsc.gc.ca by 2:30pm local time on Friday January 12th, 2018, if you will be attending the site visit.    

Completion Date:
Commence work immediately upon official notification of acceptance of offer and complete the project within eight (8) weeks after Contract Award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $80,000.00 to $90,000.00.
