Tenderers should note that Attachment File(s)contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
    
    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract generally comprises of Demolition, Decommissioning, and Renovations work to RCMP structures located at or near 6661 Christensen Road, Anahim Lake, BC.  
    
    The project consists of three components:
    
    1. Renovation of the ex-detachment structure into a single family residence. All hazardous waste remediation of existing structure will be completed as part of the contract, prior to selective building demolition. Demolition work includes, but in not limited to, removal of exterior cladding, windows, doors and roofing membrane. Interior demolition work includes, but is not limited to, removal of gypsum partitions and ceiling, CMU partitions containing reinforcing, and concrete ceiling assembly, flooring, utilities, etc. Hazard material remediation of the ex-detachment to be completed prior to the remediation of the abandoned residences.
    2. Demolition and removal of two abandoned residences 6652, & 6665 Christensen Rd. This includes structures basements, footings, utilities, and all other associated items. All Hazardous waste remediation of existing buildings will be completed as part of the contract, prior to building demolition.
    3. Site Rehabilitation: This includes selective demolition and removal of items occurring throughout the site. After demolition activities are completed, the site is to be rehabilitated, graded and landscaped.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 2:00pm local time, at the 6661 Christensen Rd., Anahim Lake, BC, V0L 1C0. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within twenty-six (26) weeks after contract award notification.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $500,001.00 and $1,000,000.00.
