    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract generally comprises of the strengthening design construction work for the Lower Liard River Bridge, located at Km 763.3 Alaska Highway, BC. This work also includes traffic accomodation and environment management.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan:
    Canada has worked successfully in the past to leverage training opportunities, employment and resource building for Indigenous peoples and continues working collaboratively with Indigenous communities on various projects.
    
    Canada is committed to reconciliation and meaningful engagement with Indigenous Peoples. This invitation to tender requires bidders to include a Mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan to deliver socio-economic opportunities for the Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Firms of the Daylu Dena Council throughout the duration of the construction project.
    
    Bidders must submit a compliant bid that meets all the mandatory requirements which includes the mandatory Indigenous Benefits Plan. Failure to meet all the mandatory requirements will disqualify a bid from further consideration.
    
    Site Visit:
    There will be NO scheduled site visit.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within eighteen (18) weeks after contract award notification.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001.00 and $5,000,000.00.
