    Work Description:
    
    The work to be carried out under this contract comprises the renovation of kitchen and washrooms at the Operation Building and associated site work at Fort Langley Historical Park, 23433 Mavis Avenue, Fort Langley, BC.  Work under the Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the renovation of kitchen and washrooms at the Operation Building and associated on-site and civil work as fully described in the Tender Documents.
    
    All work is to be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
    
    Site Visit:
    
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    There will be a site visit on January 18, 2018 at 11:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Fort Langley National Historic Park site entrance, 23433 Mavis Avenue, Fort Langley, BC
     
    Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
    
    Delivery Date:
    
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (20) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. 
    
    Value of Project:
    
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $725,000.00 and $775,000.00
