    Title:  Chehalis River Hatchery - Wells PWC-2 and TWC-1 Upgrades

    The Chehalis River Hatchery is located approximately 39 km east of Mission, BC, 5 km off Highway #7 at Harrison Miss, on Morris Valley Road. 
    
    Work Description: 
    Work under this contract consists of the upgrading of two wells. Well PWC-2, which was drilled, cased and screened in 1980, is to be brought on line. Well TWC-1 is an existing well that requires a down-sizing of the pump assembly due to changes in the capacity of the well over time. The upgrades consist of the supply, installation and commissioning of well pump assemblies and pipelines, as well as installing owner-supplied control systems. 
    
    Work includes, but is not limited to:
    1) Mobilization of all necessary equipment, material and crew to the site.
    2) Supply and installation of two well pump assemblies, one for each well. 
    3) Supply and installation of the pipeline from Well PWC-2 to the aeration tower and the pipelines from the aeration tower to the future tub farm. The supply and installation of plumbing components for the pipe modifications for Well TWC-1. The Contractor shall supply all construction materials and equipment. 
    4) Installation of the owner-supplied electrical control panels; supply and installation of electrical conduits, conductors, transducers and components for the pump motors. 
    5) Testing and commissioning of the two well pump assemblies.
    6) Clean-up of the work area and demobilization of equipment and crew from the site. 
    
    Site Visit: 
    There is NO scheduled site visit. Bidders are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. 
    
    Bidders are advised that the hatchery site is normally open to the public and contractors from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Working hours for any eventual contract may be extended on a daily basis, or to include weekends, at the discretion of the Hatchery Manager. 
     
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by August 31, 2018.

    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $425,000 and $475,000.
