    Work Description:
    Small Craft Harbours (SCH) requires the complete demolition of a timber frame building, Building 25, located in Richmond, British Columbia. Building 25 is a wooden frame structure with metal cladding exterior wall and roofing. The building provides approximate 1,511.19 square meter gross floor area. The scope of work includes the supply of materials, equipment, tools, services, labour, and all things necessary for the completion deconstruction and removal of the identified building in Steveston Paramount Site. 
    Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract Documents:
    -Review site specific information
    -Mobilization and Demobilization
    -Abatement and removal of hazardous material
    -Demolition, removal and disposal Building 25
    -Provide closeout submittals
    
    Site Visit:
    1. There will be an optional site visit on December 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
    
    2. Address: 12740 Trites Road, Richmond. Bidders must meet at the main parking lot outside the Harbour Authority office.
                
    3. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
    
    4. Masks must be brought to the site visit and are required to be worn. Travel to and from the site is at the Bidder’s own expense and risk. Bidders are responsible for familiarizing themselves and complying with public health protocols in effect for COVID-19, including travel restrictions.
    
    4.         This site visit is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. The person(s) who attend must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccine(s), or, for personnel that are unable to be vaccinated due to a certified medical contraindication, religion or other prohibited grounds of discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act, subject to accommodation and mitigation measures that have been presented to and approved by Canada.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than December 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. local time to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Attendance of the site visit will be limited to one visitor per organization. Bidders must also complete and submit the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification found in the solicitation.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work before May 31, 2022.
    
    Estimated Value: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $100,001.00 and $500,000.00 (GST included).
