    Work Description: 
    The project comprises of remediationwork on the north apron of the Whitehorse International Airport. The work includes but is not limited to site preparation, site facilities provision and operation, contaminated water treatment provision and operation, temporary sloping and shoring, wasteoversize debris removal, excavation, backfill, transporting and disposing of contaminated and non-contaminated materials, and site restoration.
    
    This procurement is subject to the Ta’an Kwach’an Council Final Agreement and the Kwanlin Dun First NationFinal Agreement.
    
    Mandatory Requirement:
    The Superintendent must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the environmental remediation industry including five (5) years of demonstrated experience as an on-site Superintendent.
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    There isan optional site visit for prospective bidders on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 15:00 PDST at the Whitehorse International Airport, Whitehorse, YT.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by January 30, 2017.

    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
    $1,000,000 to $1,100,000.
