Office Renovation - Building M2A

Work Description: 
The Workcomprises of interior renovation of rooms 102, 104, 104A, 108 & 112 in Building M2A, including mechanical, electrical, and remedial work at Matsqui Institution at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC.

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit is scheduled on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at 10:00am PDST, at the PWGSC Site Office at Matsqui Institution, located at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC.  A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites.  Contractors attending the site visit are requiredto show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Driver's License.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Interested contractors are required to provide their name(s) and company name(s) to the Contracting Authority, Janie Leung at (604) 666-8228 or by email to Janie.Leung@pwgsc.gc.ca by Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 at 3:00pm PDST if you will be attending the site visit.  

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete within twelve (12) weeks of Contract award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $475,000 to $525,000.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
