Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Pacific Time).

Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.

Work Description:
Works of this Contract for the repaving work at Fraser Port of Entry, BC, which generally includes demolition of an existing concrete slab and associated foundation, regrading and repaving of parking and roadway, painting of inspection canopy, and new traffic line painting.

All re-paving and line painting work that is in the way of the regular operation of the Port of Entry must be carried out afterhours. Regular operation hours for the Port is from 8am to 12am midnight.

Site Visit: 
No scheduled site visit is planned. Bidders wishing to view the site can do so on their own. Please notify the Contracting Authority by email 24 hours in advance. Bidders will need to check in with the Border Services Office when they arrive on site. Border Services Officers will not be providing answers to any bidders’ queries, of which if there are any shall be submitted through an RFI to Janie Leung at Janie.Leung@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.


Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the work within twelve (12) weeks of Contract Award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000.
