The Work under this contract shall include, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of the work, as more fully described in the drawings and specifications, for the North Portal Port Redevelopment project.

The general scope of the project includes:
1) Remove existing canopy and two existing Primary Inspection Booths.  
2) Construct one new bi-level PIL incorporated into the Travellers building and 2 new freestanding bi-level Primary Inspection Booths including all associated security devices including license plate readers and other electronic security devices.
3) New canopy above Primary Inspection Booths. 
4) Addition to existing commercial examination warehouse
5) Reconfiguration of traffic lanes and parking.
6) Expansion of existing commercial vehicle parking area.

There will be a site visit on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10:30am. 
Note: It is strongly recommended that bidders attend, to review existing site conditions and CBSA operations.  
Interested bidders are to meet at the CBSA Exam Bay Bldg. All attendees must sign the Site Visit Attendance Register prior to the walkthrough. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.

Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value over $5,000,001.
