    Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades, Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan 
    
    Work of this Contract will include, but is not limited to the following at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan: upgrade the electrical infrastructure at Saskatchewan Penitentiary, and to bring the electrical infrastructure into compliance with current electrical code requirements for arc flash protection, emergency power generation capacity, load distribution and capacity, proper and reliable grounding, and correct or create complete single line diagrams for each major electrical room as more fully described in the specifications and drawings.
    
    Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value over and above $5,000,001.
    
    Optional Site Visit: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit on March 21, 2018 at 10:30h - 17:00h CST. Interested bidders are to report to Building A03, Works Department of the Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 15:00 CST March 16, 2018 to confirm attendance, and provide the full legal name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, and the legal name of the company they represent. The use of electronic equipment is not permitted by attendees during the site walk-through. Photo identification is required to be presented by each attendee at the time of the site walk-through. Attendees without photo identification will not be permitted to attend the site walk-through. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
