Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: CCGS GC 03 NOTICE: The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy. Furthermore, as a result of the vessel's condition and weather's conditions existing during this Fall season the area will be restricted to facilities located within the limits of "Minor Waters I" which is Kingston ON to the West and Pointe-aux-Pères to the East. Description Perform the work on Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) GC 03 in accordance with the Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard technical specifications entitled "Drydocking Specification - 2012" dated September 2012 and all related drawings. It will be allowed to hoist the vessel with crane(s). Particulars of the vessel: Steel Sounding Vessel. Catamaran Type Length overall: 60 feet 8 inches. Moulded breadth: 20 feet Moulded breadth (each hull): 7 feet Distance between hulls: 6 feet Depth moulded: 6 feet 9 inches Draught max.(fresh water): 5 feet 11 inches Load displacement: 75 Long tons Commencement of Work: 15th November 2012 End of Work: 26th November 2012 This Public Works and Government Services Canada office provides procurement services in both official languages of Canada Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
