NOTICE:
The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.

Description

Perform the work on Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) MARTHA L. BLACK in accordance with Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard technical specifications entitled “ SPECIFICATION FOR THE RENOVATION OF COMPARTMENTS FLOORS & WALLS ON UPPER DECKS, CCGS Martha L. Black | Type 1100 NAVAIDS Tender‘’, and all related drawings and other technical documents.

The vessel will be moored at Queen’s Wharf, Section 96, Canadian Coast Guard base, 101 Champlain Boulevard, Quebec City, QC.

BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):

A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held on board the Vessel at the port of Gros Cacouna, QC, on, March 1st, 2017 at 13:00 p.m. EST.  An attendance confirmation is required before 11:00 am, February 24th, 2017.

VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):

A visit of the vessel will be held after the Bidder’s conference.

Work is to commence and be completed as follows:

Start of work: August 14th, 2017 or as per ship’s availability. (At the earlier date.)
End of work: September 15th, 2017 or five (5) weeks after ship’s availability. (At the earlier date.)

This Public Works and Government Services Canada office provides procurement services in both official languages of Canada.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
