NOTICE:
The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.

Description

To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships C.C.G.S. Leim, C.C.G.S. Ile Saint Ours, C.C.G.S. Garde-Côte 03 during the winter layout at the Sorel Wharf of the Canadian Coast Guard Base, Sorel, QC, in accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A. 

To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in paragraph above

BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority was held at 10:00 am, January 18th, 2018. The vessel is moored at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC) J3P 4J4.

An attendance confirmation was required before 11:00 am, January 15th, 2018.

VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
A site visit of the ships was held immediately after the bidders’ conference.


Work is to commence and be completed as follows:

Leim:    From the Contract award date to March 16th, 2018

Ile Saint Ours:  From the Contract award date March 27th, 2018

Garde Côte 03:  From the Contract award date to March 23, 2018
