    TITLE
    
    • Development of a Fishing Harbour, Harrington Harbour
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    
    • The work covered by this contract involves the construction of a new fishing harbour on the Lower North Shore of Quebec.
    
    WORK DESCRIPTION
    
    • The work includes mainly, but is not limited to:
      - Dredging of sediments and excavation of rock on the seabed;
      - The partial demolition of the existing spur wharf;
      - A timber cribs extension of the spur wharf;
      - Installation of services on docks (bollards, cleats);
      - Modification and installation (and testing) of a lifting crane for fish;
      - The construction and modification of floating docks, their anchor arms and an access gangway, and their installation;
      - The backfilling of a shore area near the wharf;
      - Crushing of stones and rock;
      - The construction of an anchoring block for the gangway;
      - Temporary installation of a seawater intake;
      - Installation of lighting and electricity at the wharf and the docks ;
      - Installation of a marking light.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    • No site visit will be held
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    • The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.
    
    PERIOD OF WORK
    
    • The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within forty-two (42) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
