Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Project STRONGBOW: Royal Canadian Navy Communications Intelligence (COMINT) and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) Capability LETTER OF INTEREST / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to provide up-to-date COMINT and SIGINT capabilities to the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) for use in the twelve (12) Halifax Class Modernised (HCM) patrol frigates. The requirement for this capability is projected to last for at least the next 15 years. The RCN established the STRONGBOW project to invest in the acquisition of modern SIGINT and COMINT equipment. The purpose of this RFI is to invite companies interested in the STRONGBOW Project to submit; an information package on their proposed product, ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) costs, installation schedule to initial operational capability, and, life cycle management options.
