Telephone No. - (506) 636-5347 Fax No. - (506) 636-4376 Career Transition Service and Veterans’ Education and Training Benefit VAC is mandated to deliver Career Transition Services (CTS) to eligible Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, Veterans, spouses/common-law partners and survivors. VAC seeks a Contract for the delivery of this program on behalf of VAC, thereby assisting these client groups to successfully plan for, prepare for and obtain suitable civilian employment upon leaving the military and for the rest of their working life. VAC is also mandated to deliver the Veteran's Education and Training Benefit (ETB) to eligible Veterans to help them achieve their education and post-military transition goals, including employment, if applicable. Contract Period and Options: A single Contractor will be selected from amongst the responsive bids received in responseto the RFP. The Work is to be performed for a total period of forty-three (43) months which includes: a four (4) month implementation period; thirty-six (36) months full service period; and three (3) months contract phase out period. There will also be an option to extend the period of the Contract by up to one (1) additional twelve (12) month period prior to the contract phase out period. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
